Albrenda Stevens

WORCESTER – Albrenda K. (Singleton) Stevens, 72, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 6, 2023, following a courageous battle, surrounded by the loving presence of her family. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Albrenda was the daughter to the late Rufus and Geneva (Hamilton) Singleton. She worked for many years as a housekeeper at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. She recently retired after 20 years. Albrenda will be lovingly missed and remembered by her beloved husband of 44 years, Lorenza Stevens; her daughters, Lakesha Stevens and Stephanie Stevens; her sons, Tyrone Singleton and Eric Singleton; her sister, Theresa Salters; her brothers, Rufus Singleton and Earl Singleton; her 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers- Sgt Donnie L. I. Singleton and Curtis Simmons Brown, her sister Joyce Singleton, and her loving nephew Dante Nesbitt. Family and friends will gather for Calling Hours from 10am to 11am on Saturday, August 12, at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A Funeral Service will follow immediately at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester.
