WORCESTER: Alfred W. "Bill" Daniels, 62, of 3 Moss St. , died suddenly on Tuesday, September 6, 2005, after being stricken ill at work. He leaves his companion Betty M. Plouffe; a brother, Robert P. Daniels and his wife Alice of Spencer; Betty's three children and six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Richard E. Daniels, John F. "Jack" Daniels, and a sister, Maureen D. Brindisi, all predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Emil G. and Dorothy E. (Moran) Daniels. He attended Sacred Heart of Jesus School. Bill was a production coordinator at Eddington Thread Manufacturing Company in Worcester, where he worked since 1988. He loved spending time with his family and the special bond he had with Betty's grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as their "Bumpa". He enjoyed watching sports. CALLING HOURS will be held from 5 to 8 p. m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a. m. on Friday, Sept. 9, in SACRED HEART OF JESUS CHURCH, 600 Cambridge St. , followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery.
