Belinda Perez

WORCESTER - Belinda Perez, 63, passed away in her home on February 21st, 2025. She was born in New York to Lino and Lucilla Perez. 

She spent her younger years growing up in Chelsea, MA and later settled in Worcester. Belinda was a social worker who spoke to droves of people over the radio and in packed auditoriums. She took great pride in helping others. Belinda was an avid dog lover who turned her hobby into a legitimate business in the heart of Manhattan. Loved the beach as much as she loved music and to dance. She loved her entire family but her greatest joy was her son Michael and her grandchildren.

Belinda is survived by her son Michael Garcia; four grandchildren: Caiden, McKennah, Maliah and Kinsley; sisters: Sandra Buffington, Carol Perez and Yolanda Cardona; brothers: Lee and Orlando Perez, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Belinda's family from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 13th, at Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, Webster St., Worcester.
