WORCESTER: Beverly J. (Bigos) McNamara, 56, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, after a brief illness. She leaves her husband of 33 years, Kevin B. McNamara; a son, Kevin J. McNamara and his wife Michelle; a daughter, Brianne M. McNamara; her parents, Joseph L. and Arlene M. (OâMara) Bigos; two sisters, Linda M. Rafferty and her husband Edward, Christine Frisch and her husband Kevin; and her granddaughter, Maura, all of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her life long best friend, Jean Aromando of Oxford. She was born and raised in Worcester and graduated from South High School in 1974. Bev worked for the Worcester Public Schools Nutrition Department for many years, most recently as the cafeteria manager at Doherty Memorial High School. She was a long time member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family. CALLING HOURS will be held from 4 to 8 P. M. on THURSDAY, JAN. 24 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held on FRIDAY, JAN. 25 at 11 A. M. in OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS CHURCH, 1222 Main St. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
