Auburn

AUBURN - Bonita (Bonnie) Dover, 64 of Auburn Ma, a loving mother, Mimi, sister, aunt and friend passed away surrounded by family on April 15, 2025. Bonnie was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS in September of 2023. A fighter by nature, Bonnie faced her new reality head on and head strong. Her strength and determination to make the most of her remaining days was powerful.

Bonnie is survived by her three children, son, Jose Verge of Deltona Florida, daughter Alicia Sousa and her significant other Jason Lambert of Holden, daughter Cortlyn Verge and her husband Italo of Leominster. She was Mimi to her grandchildren Kailynne Ford, Sophia Lambert, Brady Lambert and Zenaide Verge.

Bonnie, survived by her mother Helen Buxton and the daughter of Allister Verge predeceased, both of Marlboro. Siblings Daniel Verge and his wife Brenda of Auburn, Sandra Buxton and her companion Don Shine of Sturbridge, and Tami Zanchi and her husband Robert of Marlboro. She also leaves three nieces, three nephews, three great nieces, six great nephews (one predeceased), one great-great niece and three great-great nephews.

Bonnie's wishes were to have a celebration of life, while she was with us to enjoy it! Her family and friends gave her an incredible send off before her illness progressed further. With that, there will be no services. To honor Bonnie, she would want you to spend your time doing the things you enjoy with the people you love. She was a beloved volunteer at the local Amvets Post in Marlboro who we will remember for her love of rock music, dancing, Harley's, her military and more than anything, her family.
