Bonnie Field

August 8, 1959 — March 1, 2024

Our beloved Bonnie Jeanne (Aho) Field has passed away, five minutes past midnight, this day, Friday, 3/1/2024. Daughter of the late Carol Anne (Button) Aho and Francis John (Jack) Aho, Bonnie led a life of adventure and travel, whether it be snowmobiling up in the cold and blizzard covered mountains of New Hampshire or hiking through western Massachusetts in the delicately melting rivers of an ever-refreshing New England spring…. Bonnie also traveled to England, France, Belgium, and Portugal throughout her life. She loved meeting new people and sharing their customs. She took language courses and spoke three foreign languages: French, Portuguese, and Russian. She attended Marlborough High School. She attended the Boston Ballet and was awarded summer dance seminar membership at the Harkness School of Ballet in New York City. She had a successful decades-long career as dental manager of a thriving local orthodontist office. During that time, she lived in Beacon Hill, Boston and later Boylston, where and when she found her love for cuisine. Bonnie was an avid hostess, who focused and experted nutritional culinary. Bonnie later found interest and advocated the progressive awareness in combined medicinal/holistic medicine. She loved novels; Masterpiece works and the writings by Jane Austen, which were amongst her favorites.   She leaves behind her partner Edward Ayers of Boylston, and their beloved Ginger. His daughters, Lynn and Melanie. Her sisters, Laura Aho and Beth Aho; a brother, Ret. Col. John Aho and wife Rose Marie; Nephews, Edwin J., John Jr., Nicholas, Sr.,and Branden; a niece, Kirsten; and many great nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her ex-husband Jay Field. And lastly, with the greatest sadness, she leaves behind her two very dear friends and classical dance artists/lifelong sister enthusiasts, Susie and Cheryl.   We will miss Bonnie for her love for life and her keen mindfulness and vibrancy for life and living. So delicate our bodice butterfly…. So short a span.… She lived it.   Donations may be made to Lyme Disease Association and/or Boston Ballet.org
