Carol A. Bankert

WORCESTER: Carol A. (Stevens) Bankert, 72 formerly of Pleasant St. , died Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Parsons Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1350 Main St. She leaves two daughters, Linda A. Farsi and her husband Matthew of Tallahassee, Florida, Bonnie L. Hays and her husband Paul of Starkville, Mississippi; a son, Steven G. Bankert and his wife Maggie of Worcester; 8 grandchildren, Natalie Hilton, Mariam Turley, James Hays, Marjan Farsi, Virginia Bankert, Manhaz Farsi, Adam Hays, and Ali Farsi. She was born in Auburn, New York, daughter of the late Thomas M. and Irene M. (Lucas) Stevens, and moved to Worcester many years ago. Carol worked as a housekeeper at Auburn Memorial Hospital in Auburn, NY for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and participating in arts and crafts at Adult Day Care. There are no calling hours.
