WORCESTER: Catherine Ambrose, 90, died at home on Thursday, February 11, 2016, after a brief illness. She leaves her sons, Rensfield Romeo and his wife, Ruperta, with whom Catherine lived, Onslow James of Worcester; a daughter, Cecile James of Worcester; five grandchildren, Nataki, Rasheed, Shawn, Rasheda and Glenmore; six great grandchildren, Daion, Dajaisha, Marcus, Joshua, Jordan and Ava; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A brother Malcom Ambrose and a sister, Florence Joseph, both predeceased her. She was born and raised in St, Johnâs, Antigua, daughter of the late Victor and Grace (Nero) Ambrose. She lived in Worcester for more than 20 years. Catherine worked at the Mill Reef Hotel in Antigua for many years before moving to Worcester, MA. She was an active member of Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church of Worcester and its Diamond Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. CALLING HOURS will be held from 5 to 7 P. M. on TUESDAY, FEB. 16 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by A FUNERAL SERVICE at 7 P. M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Antigua at the convenience of the family.
