Cheryl A Turner, 70, of Brookfield, MA passed away on December 14, 2023, in Worcester, MA. She was born on August 29, 1953, in Worcester, MA, to the late Robert and Barbara Turner.

Cheryl was a vivacious and vibrant individual who always had a smile for everyone. She had a zest for life and made lifelong friends with ease. Cheryl was a talented artist who worked in various mediums, including fabric, paint, clay, stained glass, and gardening. Her love for sewing led her to create beautiful fabric items, stuffed animals and decorative pieces, which she sold at local craft fairs. She also utilized her artistic eye by creating captivating displays for Yankee Candle stores in Massachusetts and Florida, where she moved in 2010.

Apart from her artistic pursuits, Cheryl was also an athlete. She participated on softball, volleyball and basketball teams throughout her highschool and adult years. She graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School, Sturbridge, MA in 1971 and was instrumental in organizing their 40th class reunion. After relocating to Florida (Clearwater and then Dunedin), Cheryl discovered a passion for shuffleboard and enjoyed playing and competing along with her parents Robert and Barbara.

Cheryl leaves behind her beloved daughter, Jessica (Senecal) Visceto (husband Daniel, Jr). She is also survived by her son Joshua Senecal (wife Rene). Her grandchildren Daniel Visceto III, Ricky Lazo, Oliver Senecal, and Leah Senecal. She is further survived by her dear sister Barbara Turner-Delisle (husband Lawrence O’Connor) and her two nephews Todd and Ryan Shumate. She is survived by her cousins Joanne (Gregory) Brown (husband Stuart) and Bill Gregory (wife Nancylee). She leaves life long friend Karen Seremet as well as many long time friends.

She was very grateful to Karen as well as Ellen and Dave Brigham who were instrumental in helping her during the last couple years of her illness, the Care Central VNA and Hospice, Inc. and her. Doctors and medical team at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA

Cheryl was a member of Brookfield Congregational Church in Brookfield, MA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, likely in June.
