Christanya Stevens

WORCESTER: Christanya Stevens, 65, a long time resident of Worcester, died on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Worcester Health Center, 25 Oriol Drive, after a brief illness. She leaves a brother, Don Stevens and his wife Blenna of Scottsdale, AZ; and a sister, Michelle Inase and her husband Joe of Tucson, AZ. A brother, Keith Stevens of Florida and a sister, Shelley Stevens of West Brookfield both predeceased her. She was born in Stratford, CT, daughter of the late Don C. and Marusha (Lantowska) Stevens and lived in Spencer for many years before moving to Worcester. She was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer. Chris worked as a secretary at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for many years until she retired. She loved crocheting, spending time at Hampton Beach, NH and will be remembered most for her gift of finding special treasures at yard sales. She will be dearly missed by her family and her very dear friends. There are no calling hours. After cremation, a private service will be held at a later date.
