Worcester – Christopher M. Cornine, 41, died peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Theodore Cornine and Nancy (Barns) Cornine and graduated from Doherty High School in Worcester. Chris was predeceased by his father, Theodore Cornine. He is survived by his long-time partner, Heidi Walker; his mother, Nancy Cornine; his brother, Jason McGarry; and his beloved nephews to whom he was very close, Jeremy and Joshua McGarry. Chris had a life-long passion for cooking and turned that passion into a career. He had shared his love for cooking at several restaurants in the Worcester area. Chris carried a strong work ethic and never gave less than his very best at anything he tried. He was always looking forward to his next excursion to Key West where he found peace and tranquility. Above all he was a devoted partner, son, brother and uncle. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p. m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Funeral services will be private.
