WORCESTER: Courtney L. Bird, 25, of 94 Sterling St. , died Friday, February 19, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Sturbridge. She leaves her 2 children, Nathaniel X. Matos and Leanna J. Rodriguez; her parents, Jeanne F. (Pepin) Cunningham and Stephen R. Bird; 2 sisters, Amy L. and Brittany J. Bird; a brother, Jason R. Bird; her paternal grandfather, John P. Bird; her longtime companion, Jose âPumaâ Rodriguez; and Nathanielâs father, Malek Matos; all of Worcester; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born and raised in Worcester, attended Worcester Vocational High School and was a graduate of New Start. Courtney worked as a dietary aide at Radius Healthcare Center on Providence St. for several years. When not at work, she was a devoted mother to her beloved children. CALLING HOURS are from 4 to 8 P.
