David A. Larson

WORCESTER: David A. Larson, 78, died unexpectedly on Friday morning, August 3, 2018 at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Margaret A. âPeggyâ (Welcome) Larson; a son, Mark D. Larson and his wife Becky of Douglas; two daughters, Donrue M. Larson of Whitinsville, Kellie A. Lainey and her husband Keith of Worcester; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A son, Peter J. Larson, his two brothers, John A. and Robert O. Larson, and a nephew, Paul O. Larson, all predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Arthur and Rita C. (Guerin) Larson and was a graduate of Commerce High School. David worked as a truck driver with St. Johnsbury Trucking Company for many years until he retired. He was a member of St. Bernardâs Church, now known as Our Lady of Providence Parish and a long-time member of the Teamsters Union Local 170. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, spending time with his family, and was an avid sports fan. There are no calling hours, Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
