David Paul Hackett

David Paul Hackett, 64, of Worcester passed away on June 17, 2023 at Rose Monahan home in Worcester surrounded by his loved ones. Dave was born to parents, Charles and Claire (Bedard) Hackett, in Worcester, MA. From a young age there wasn’t a sport that Dave didn’t at least try but baseball was his favorite. As a student at Burncoat Senior High, Dave spent a great deal of time making people laugh. That was a trend he continued for the rest of his life. Always being outside was just one of his many traits. You could always find him fishing or outside and under the sun. His wit, sense of humor, and clever retorts will be something his family will never forget. Dave is survived by his parents; his sisters, Theresa Marczewski. Cynthia Hackett, Linda Reidy and her husband, Dennis, and Deborah Hackett; one brother, Chuck Hackett and his wife, Laurie; three children, Jason, Nicholas, and Courtney; his fishing buddy of many years, Lou; and a host of loving extended family and friends including many nieces and nephews.
