WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, USA: Deborah C. Clarke-Connell, 62, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, after a short illness. She leaves her mother, Geraldine E. (Clarke) Connell of Worcester; a brother, David M. Connell and his wife Cheryl of Northbridge; two sisters, E. Jacqueline Connell of Worcester and Juliette M. Connell of Miami, FL; an uncle, Ivan Clarke of Canada; two aunts, Millicent C. Nurse of Barbados and Anita Greenidge of the United Kingdom; two nieces, Tiffany and Leah; three nephews, Matthew, Michael and Joshua. She also leaves her fiancÃ, Frank Donessoni of Worcester and many cousins and friends around the world. Her father, Everton M. Connell and her sister, Diana J. Pettersson, predeceased her in 2016. Four uncles, Austin Clarke and James Nurse, both of Barbados, Llewellyn Clarke and Rev. Dennis Greenidge, Sr. , both of the United Kingdom, also predeceased her. She was born in Barbados and immigrated to Worcester at the age of 14. She graduated from North High School in Worcester and Harvard University where she earned her Bachelorâs degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Physiology. Deborah worked for more than 20 years in the medical, administration and education fields. She was a devoted member of Christ Jubilee International Ministries in Worcester. She loved traveling, singing, writing poetry and actively participated in church ministry. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, July 30 at Christ Jubilee International Ministries, 5 Elmwood Street, Worcester, with Pastor Edith Stevequaoh Officiating. Private Burial Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations in memory of Deborah be made to Christ Jubilee International Ministries, 5 Elmwood Street, Worcester, MA 01602.
