Deirdre Hill

FITCHBURG – Deirdre S. Hill, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Born and raised in Arlington, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara (Toomey) Hill. After graduating from Regis College, Deirdre enjoyed a long career as a telephone operator and supervisor, retiring from Verizon in 2011. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, listening to music, shopping, and long drives to wherever the road would lead. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her willingness to help anyone in need and taking care of others. Deirdre was also an animal lover, and she loved her own pets dearly. First and foremost, Deirdre was a loving mother who cherished time spent with her children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two daughters, Melissa Bicchieri and Toni-Lee Bicchieri; her son, Dylan Bicchieri; her husband, Paul Bicchieri; and her two brothers, Christopher Hill, and Geoffrey Hill. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Jonathan Teck who she lovingly cared for as a son, and her brother, Gregory Hill. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
