Denise Keyes

Denise A. (Elie) Keyes, 69, passed away on February 1, 2023, after a long illness with her daughter by her side. Born in Worcester, MA, Denise was the daughter of Edward and Lorraine (Lafond) Elie. She graduated from Fanning Trade School as a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at various nursing homes in the area, eventually retiring from West Side House in Worcester. She is survived by her daughter Tara Goodrich and her husband Josh of Oxford, as well as her two granddaughters, Emily Goodrich of Boston and Brooke Goodrich of Oxford. She also leaves her sisters, Charlene Elie of Webster, Celeste Bonica of Millbury, and Karen Gosselin of Millbury, and nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Edward Elie Jr. , Jamie Elie, and Joshua Elie. Denise enjoyed her nursing career, trips to the casino, and traveling to Las Vegas. However, what she loved most was spending time with her beautiful granddaughters. They were her greatest joy, and she was their fiercest cheerleader. Following cremation, a memorial Mass will be held at 10 a. m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Louis Church 15 Lake Street Webster, MA. Light refreshments to follow in the church hall.
