Diane Brennan

HUBBARDSTON – Diane M. (Begnoche) Brennan, 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital-Leominster Campus. Born and raised in Fitchburg, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Jeanette (Leblanc) Begnoche.

Diane enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse and retired after nearly 40 years of dedicated service. Diane earned the respect of her colleagues and was well loved by her patients.

She loved the quiet country living and was an avid animal lover. She was always supportive of her children’s interests, which included Renaissance festivals and horse shows, where she took great pride in being a horse show mom. 

She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her children, Patrick Brennan and his wife, Virginia Houley of Milford and Jillian Brennan and her partner, Shawn Blakley of Hubbardston; her long-time companion, Robert Reid of Hubbardston; and her brother, Wayne Begnoche and his wife, Mary of Woonsocket, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter in North Brookfield, MA (secondchanceanimals.org). A funeral Mass is scheduled, at St Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland, Street, Fitchburg MA, on November 30, 2024 at 11 am.  A small family burial will be held on a later date.
