WORCESTER: Doris E. (LaBuff) Cook, 94, formerly of 10 Hemlock St. , died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Odd Fellows Home, after a long illness. She leaves two sons, Jeffrey R. Cook of Worcester, Bradford C. Cook of Greenbrier, Arkansas; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Another son, Douglas R. Cook, predeceased her. She was born in Leominster, daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Hunt) LaBuff. She graduated from Commerce High School and lived in Worcester most of her life. Doris was secretary to the president at State Mutual Life Assurance Co. where she worked for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Shrewsbury. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crochet, music, dancing, bowling and baseball. There are no calling hours. Cremation will be at Rural Crematory. The family suggests donations in memory of Doris be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St. , Worcester, MA 01609.
