WORCESTER: Edna D. (Comeau) Dente, 91, of 45 Farrar Ave. , died early Sunday morning, July 1, 2012 at the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence, 1183 Main St. , after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 64 years, John F. Dente; 3 daughters, Carol Ann Hunt and her husband Stephen of Worcester; Joanne Pogorek and her husband James of Spencer, Susan Marie Austin and her husband Kenneth of Auburn; 3 grandsons, Richard Hunt and his wife Karin of Millbury, Robert Pogorek and his wife Meaghan of Overland Park, KS, Brian Pogorek and his wife Andrea of Marlboro; 4 great grandchildren, Angelina and Jordan Hunt of Millbury, Elisabeth and Emma Pogorek of Overland Park; and many nieces and nephews. Five brothers and four sisters, all predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Adelard A. and Mary R. (Beaudreau) Comeau and lived here all her life. Edna enjoyed her weekly casino trips, knitting, playing bingo, and frequent family game nights. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the hospice team from UMass Memorial and the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence for their excellent care and compassion. M. on FRIDAY, JULY 6 at OUR LADY OF LORETO CHURCH, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
