WORCESTER: Evelyn A. (Blakeslee) White, 87, formerly of 27 Mount Vernon St. , died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Life Care Center of Auburn, after a brief illness. Her husband of 33 years, Frederick K. White, II, died in 1979 and her son, Frederick K. White, III, died in 1976. A brother, Norman Blakeslee, also predeceased her. She leaves two daughters, Cindy A. CaraDonna and her husband James of North Oxford, Betty A. Robinson and her husband James of Rhode Island; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Seth and Anna (Caine) Blakeslee. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, the Felt & Tarrant Comptometer School, and served in the Army during World War II. Evelyn worked in the payroll department at Norton Company and also at American Steel & Wire, before retiring to raise her children. She had been a member of the Red Hat Society, a former member of St. Bernard's Church, and enjoyed playing bingo. A CALLING HOUR will be from 10:15 a. m. to 11:15 a. m. on Friday, June 22, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. . A FUNERAL MASS will follow at 12 Noon on Friday in St. BERNARD'S CHURCH, 228 Lincoln St. , followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery.
