WORCESTER: Evelyn L. (Andersen) Walsh, 95, formerly of Sears Island, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. Her husband of 56 years, Francis E. "Frankie" Walsh, died August 26, 1990. She leaves a half-brother, Harry Andersen of Framingham; a half-sister, Carol Nordeen of Vista, CA; three nephews, Lawrence B. Johnson of Barre, Douglas A. Johnson of Homestead, FL, Robert K. Johnson of Tucson, AZ; two nieces, Rebecca Romani of Yarmouthport, Cynthia A. Gresser of Prescott, AZ; several grandnieces and grandnephews. Three sisters, Helen E. Hall, Edith I. Nilson and Catherine M. Johnson, all predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Soren and Louise M. (Boles) Andersen. Evelyn was a sales clerk at the former Denholm and McKay Department Store, where she worked for 29 years, retiring in 1973. She lived here most of her life and was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. "Auntie" will be missed by everyone blessed to have known her. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 10 to 11 a. m. on Monday, April 28, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , immediately followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 11 a. m. in the funeral home.
