WEST BOYLSTON: Hedwig J. (Budzinski) Dawidczyk, 84, of 598 Prospect St. , died at home on Sunday, June 11, 2006, after a brief illness. Her husband of almost 30 years, Adam P. Dawidczyk, died in 1984. She leaves a son, Paul J. Dawidczyk and his wife Helen of West Boylston; five grandchildren, Linda Messier, Paul J. Dawidczyk, Jr. , Matthew Holt, Nathan Dawidczyk and Kelsey Dawidczyk; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Dawidczyk, Emma Dawidczyk and Jordan Messier; several nieces and nephews; and her very good friend, Lucille Beaudoin. Several brothers and sisters predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Wladyslawa (Biobreska) Budzinski, and lived in this area all her life. Hedwig worked many years as a clothing inspector at Jackson Sportswear in Worcester, until she retired. She was a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and its Ladies Guild. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed the daily word puzzles. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 10 to 11 a. m. on Friday, June 16, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester, followed by A FUNERAL SERVICE at 12 Noon in FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 26 Central St. , West Boylston. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
