Heidi Munroe

On Sunday March 17th, 2024 Heidi C. (George) Munroe, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away after her battle with cancer. She was 69. Heidi is survived by her husband Bradford Munroe together over forty years, son Adam Munroe of Barre VT and daughter Kelly Adams of Groton, MA., grandchildren Mila Munroe, Natalie Adams, Josephine Munroe and Scarlett Munroe, brothers Michael George, Christopher George and sister Wendy Berg. Heidi was born to Ruth Hansen and Arnold George in Minneapolis, MN growing up in Deephaven, MN. Heidi graduated high school at Minnetonka High School and attended college at Bemidji State University.

Heidi was very active in the Townsend, MA community over the last 30 years, working with several school PTO’s, a ride volunteer for seniors needing rides to doctors appointments. Heidi had a passion for her family enjoying camping and canoeing, worldwide traveling, grandchildren tea parties and the annual large Thanksgiving dinners. Heidi loved to bake and was a Bolton fair award winner for several of her pies. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present. Donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
