PAXTON: Helen J. (Gleason) Cavanaugh, 92, a former resident of Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living and previously a longtime resident of Paxton, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, in St. Patrick's Manor, Framingham, MA. Her husband of 57 years, Lawrence F. Cavanaugh, died July 3, 1998. She leaves two grandsons, Keith M. Saxon and his wife Denise of Wilmington, Todd A. Saxon and his wife Karyn of Framingham; a sister, Katherine "Marie" Lucey of Millbury; 2 great granddaughters, Kate and Jenna; and several nieces and nephews. Her son, Lawrence F. Cavanaugh, Jr. , her daughter, Judith A. Saxon, a sister, Lillian E. Maddalena, and 2 brothers, Joseph B. and James Gleason, all predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph B. and Abbie B. (Nagle) Gleason. She graduated from North High School in 1933 and was a Horace Mann Scholar. She was a longtime member of St. Columba Church. Helen was widely appreciated for her pleasant personality. She thoughtfully remembered birthdays and anniversaries. CALLING HOURS will be from 5 to 8 p. m. on Thursday, April 10, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 11 a. m. on Friday, April 11, in ST.
