Henrietta M. Corey

WORCESTER: Henrietta M. (Babin) Corey, 93, of 19 Simone St. , died peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2007, in University Commons. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Earl Corey; three daughters, Theresa A. Evans and her husband Joseph of Milford, Rita P. Browne and her husband David of Worcester, Joyce Picard of Chicopee; a brother, Lionel Babin of Ventura, Cal. ; three sisters, Theresa Shaw of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Evelyn Lapointe of Worcester, Claire Girouard of Charlton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Aimee Babin, Richard Babin, and two sisters, Bernadette Lapointe, Antoinette Bleu, and a grandson, Kevin Browne, all predeceased her. Henrietta was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Willard and Emma (Fortier) Babin and lived in Worcester all her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former member of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading, crochet, and her doll collection. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 a. m. on Thursday, March 8, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by A FUNERAL MASS at 11 a. m. , in OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
