WESTBOROUGH – Ingeborg A. (Lindquist) Lobov, 88, beloved wife of the late Mike I. Lobov, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Born and raised in Lammholm, Finland she was a daughter of the late Nestor and Fanny (Lindholm) Lindquist. She was a very independent and confident woman. Ingeborg was a cafeteria worker for the Holliston Public Schools, retiring after thirty-five years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing and bowling along side her husband, Mike. She often traveled “home” to Finland and Sweden where she was reunited with many close relatives. She was an animal lover and welcomed a variety of different animals throughout the years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her daughter, Sonja Rioux and her husband, Guy Rioux of Newton; her son, Joel Lobov and his wife, Kristine of Hopkinton; her grandchildren, Britt Lobov who was her caretaker whom she lived with and her husband, Thomas Bulger; Nicole Faucher and her partner, Russell Mansfield of Brimfield; Michael Lobov and his wife, Alex of Milford; Melissa Greene and her husband, Andrew of Upton; her great-grandchildren, Dana Murray and Walter and Desmond Greene; her brothers, Ake Lindquist and his companion, Britt Hjerpe of Stockholm, Sweden and Runar Lindquist of Aland, Finland; her sisters, Ruth Johansson, Klara Lindblad and her husband, Ake, and Gertrude Johansson and her husband, Valdamir, all of Aland, Finland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mike I. Lobov and her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Lobov Overly, her sisters, Hulda Andersson and Elsie-Mae Winston, and her brother, John Lindquist. There are no services scheduled at this time. Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester is assisting the family.
