Iona P. Matteau

OXFORD: Iona P. (Davis) Matteau, 90, of 2 Linwood St. , died peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in Webster Manor, Webster, Mass. Her husband of 65 years, John A. Matteau, died June 8, 2000. She leaves a son, John A. Matteau, Jr. of Oxford, also known in the music profession as Jackie Lee Williams. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her two sisters, Evelyn A. Davis of Plainville, Conn. , and Lillian M. Kelly of Worcester, both predeceased her. She was born in Dudley and raised in Webster, a daughter of the late Sidney and Avis (Fehser) Davis. She lived in Oxford more than 40 years. CALLING HOURS will be held on Monday, June 12, from 7 to 9 p. m. in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 1 p. m. on Tuesday, June 13, in SACRED HEART CEMETERY, Webster.
