James Allan

February 22, 1974 — May 20, 2022

WORCESTER – James T. Allan, 48, beloved husband of Lindsay (Michaelis) Allan and devoted daddy to Violet and Cameron, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with auto immune disease. Born in Lawrence, MA and raised in Keeseville, NY, he was a son of the late Robert and Patricia (Rose) Allan. He was a graduate of AuSable Valley High School in Keeseville, NY and furthered his education at Nichols College. In 2005, while working at Northern Mortgage in Shrewsbury, he met his future wife, Lindsay and fell in love. Jim and Lindsay were together for 17 years and would have celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on June 11th. Together they enjoyed the beaches of Maine and cruising to the islands of St. Thomas, Grand Cayman and Puerto Rico. In his spare time, he could often be found playing or watching a good game of golf. Above all else, Jim was a family man. Nothing made him happier than spending time with Lindsay, Violet and Cameron. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 11 years, Lindsay; his two little ones, Violet and Cameron; his brother, William Allan and his wife, Jackie of Peru, NY; his three sisters, Valerie Truitt and her husband, James of Millbury, Jennifer Schubach and her husband, Dan of Phoenix, AZ, and Kathleen Reyes and her husband, Sergio of Tuscon, AZ; his best friend and partner in crime for many years, Kevin Stateham of Oxford; his father-in-law, Richard Michaelis and his wife, Audry of Bradenton, FL; his mother in law, Deborah Gentile and her husband, Paul of Mashpee, his brother-in-law, Ryan Michaelis and his wife, Anne of Darien, CT; his sister-in-law, Lisa Allan of Pittsfield, NH; his sister-in-law, Courtney Michaelis of Clearwater, FL; and many nieces and nephews and extended family who cared deeply for him and will miss his wild sense of humor and his crazy antics at family functions. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Allan, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 6 p. m. on Thursday, May 26 at Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 6 p. m. in the funeral home. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to https://www. gofundme. com/f/banding-together-for-the-allans to help support Violet and Cameron.
