WORCESTER: Jean G. (LeBlanc) OâConnell Parker, 82, died on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Christopher House, 10 Mary Scano Drive. She was predeceased by her husbands, Richard A. OâConnell and William Lavery Parker. She leaves a son, Mark S. OâConnell and his wife Patrice of Worcester; step-sons, Michael J. Parker and his wife Kelly of Reading, CA, David W. Parker and his wife Michelle of East Sandwich, MA, John W. Parker and his wife Margaret of Murrells Inlet, SC; a brother, Ernest A, LeBlanc and his wife Nancy of Worcester; 10 grandchildren including Dr. Ryan OâConnell, Caitlin OâConnell and Erin OâConnell; many nieces, nephews and cousins including her niece Kerry Soltys; and her uncle and aunt Raymond and Doris LeBlanc. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Ernest E. and Grace J. (Robert) LeBlanc, graduated from Commerce High School and lived here most of her life. She lived in New Port Richey, Florida before returning here. Jean was an accountant at Innovations, Inc. in Shrewsbury until retiring in 1996. She previously worked at Table Talk Pastry Company, Heald Machine, Wyman-Gordon, and Colonial Press in Clinton. She was a member and Queen of the Red Hat Chapter âRed Orchid Lei Deesâ. She was a very active resident of the Orchid Lake RV Park and at nursing homes with the Clown Brigade. She loved traveling to other countries but most of all, the Caribbean. The family would like to express their most sincere thanks to the staff at the Christopher House for providing Jean with exceptional care. CALLING HOURS will be from 4 to 7 P. M. on THURSDAY, SEPT. 7 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln Street. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10A. M. on FRIDAY, SEPT. 8 at ST. JOHNâS CHURCH, 40 Temple Street. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. The family suggests donations in memory of Jean be made to St. Jude Childrenâs Research Hospital, P. O.
