Jeremy S. Hutchings

September 4, 1959 – August 10, 2024

Jeremy S. Hutchings, 64, passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2024, after a long battle with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease. He was a long-time resident of New Fairfield, CT and beloved husband of Jacqueline Riley Hutchings. 

Born on September 4th,1959 in Toronto, Ont., Canada, Jeremy was a devoted husband, a generous friend, and a passionate artist. His dedication extended beyond his personal passions into his professional life, where he worked tirelessly as an IT professional for 35 years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

Jeremy was predeceased by his parents John J. Hutchings and Elizabeth M. Hutchings 

Jeremy’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 38 years Jacqueline, children Jessica Gagnon (Eric Gagnon), Andrew Hutchings, and grandson Brayden Gagnon as well as his siblings Julie Lynn (Thomas) and Peter Hutchings (Suzanne) and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 31st, at 11:00 AM at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, 20 Gillotti Rd., New Fairfield, CT and will be officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Yoho.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or the Congregational Church of New Fairfield (ccnf-ucc.org) in Jeremy’s memory.
