WORCESTER: John J. Hebert, 63, of 17 Goucher Ave. , died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Odd Fellows Home, after an illness. He leaves two sons, Kevin J. Hebert and his fiancÃe Alice of Spencer, Shawn M. Hebert and his wife Beckie of Worcester; his mother, Helen T. (Tuminski) Hebert of Worcester; a brother, William A. Hebert and his wife Jihong Liu of Worcester; two sisters, Ermeline H. Duclos of Florida, Mary A. Fortin of Northboro; a granddaughter, Amber Rose Hebert of Spencer; a sister-in-law, Effie M. Hebert of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Raymond W. Hebert of Worcester, died in 1984, and Clarence J. "CJ" Hebert, died last year. He was born and raised in Bronx New York, son of the late Wilfred E. R. Hebert, and was a 1963 graduate of Worcester Boys Trade High School. He lived here most of his life. John was shipping and receiving manager at Boston Tile where he worked for 10 years. He previously worked many years as a machinist at Wachusett Moulding. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Pope John Council No. 23, a member of the K of C Alhambra Council No. 88, and a member of the Friday Night 525 Bowling League at Auburn Ten Pin Bowl. He was an avid card player and a fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. CALLING HOURS will be from 5 to 8 p. m. on Sunday, February 17, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
