John Lukason

John C Lukason, 73, from Jefferson, MA passed away peacefully with family by his side in the comfort of his home on February 5, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy (Stanwick) Lukason, his son, Jonathan (Lindsey) Lukason, of Holden, MA and his daughter, Stacy (Freemon) Romero of Leominister, MA.  John leaves his three beloved grandchildren, Adele Lukason, Davis Lukason and Calix Romero, as well as his two brothers Vincent M Lukason of Old Greenwich, CT, Peter (Linda) Lukason of Worcester, MA, his sister, Dorothy McCabe of Spencer, MA and brother in law, Alan (Debra) Stanwick of Auburn, MA.  John also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as three goddaughters. He was predeceased by his sister in law Sayre Lukason of Old Greenwich, CT. John was born in Worcester, MA to the late Vincent J Lukason and Blanche (Kazlauskas) Lukason.  He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.  John worked as an HVAC Mechanic at  UMass Memorial Medical Center retiring in 2015.  He previously worked at St Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. John enjoyed summers at the beach and going out to eat with friends and family.  He followed all the New England Sports teams, especially the Boston Bruins. Honoring John's request, funeral services will be private.
