AUBURN: Julia M. âSueâ (Morelly) Moore, 78, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, after a brief illness. She leaves her husband of 56 years, John J. Moore; a son, Michael J. Moore and his wife Camille of Palm Desert, CA; a brother, Joseph J. Morelly of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren, Caroline, Connor and Aidan; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Another son, Paul P. Moore, died in 1969, and a brother, Richard Morelly, died in 1994. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Julia M. (OâConnor) Morelly. She moved to Auburn in 1960. Julia was a switchboard operator at the Worcester County Courthouse where she worked for 23 years until retiring in 1996. She was a long time member of North American Martyrs Church and had also been a union member of AFSCME, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. She had been an active volunteer in support of various local charities, an avid youth hockey fan and enjoyed camping with her family. CALLING HOURS will be held from 9:15 to 11:15 A. M. on FRIDAY, JAN. 18 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , in Worcester, followed by A FUNERAL MASS at 12 NOON in NORTH AMERICAN MARTYRS CHURCH, 8 Wyoma Dr. , in Auburn.
