Katherine V. "Kay" Dumont

AUBURN: Katherine V. "Kay" (Kolofsky) Dumont, 87, formerly of Pinehurst Ave, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after a long illness. Her husband of 48 years, Wilfred A. Dumont, died March 10, 1988. She leaves 3 daughters, Carol A. St. Cyr and her husband Edward of Leicester, Cynthia A. Chabot and her husband Paul of Woodstock, CT, Mary B. Lachapelle and her husband Gary of Worcester; a son, Craig S. Dumont and his wife Kathy of Gilbertville; a sister, Josie Cesary of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Auburn, daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Miskaus) Kolofsky. Five brothers, John, Charles, Benjamin, James and Andrew Kolofsky, all predeceased her. Kay enjoyed the beach, flea markets, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren. CALLING HOURS will be held from 9 to 11 a. m. on WEDNESDAY, May 13, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester, immediately followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 11 a. m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Holy Trinity Hospice, 1183 Main St. , Worcester, MA 01603.
