NORTHBOROUGH: Kathleen A. Cahill, 55, formerly of Worcester, died early Monday morning, March 9, 2015 in her home, after a long illness. She leaves her son, Jason M. Spooner of Marshfield, MA; two brothers, Maurice F. Cahill, Jr. of Clinton, MA, Joseph M. âMikeâ Cahill and his daughter Bobbi-Su Cahill, both of Worcester; and several cousins throughout Ireland and New England. A brother, Brian T. Cahill and a sister-in-law, Judith E. Brown Cahill, both predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Maurice F. Cahill, Sr. and Margaret (OâBrien) Cahill. She was a graduate of St. Peter-Marian High School and Suffolk University. Kathy was a telecommunications data engineer with Bell Atlantic for many years until leaving work due to illness. She had been an active member of St. Bernadette Parish in Northborough and a former member of St. Bernardâs Church in Worcester. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, snow skiing and was a volunteer worker with Employment Options in Marlborough. After cremation, MEMORIAL CALLING HOURS will be held from 9 to 10:30 A. M. on SATURDAY, MARCH 28 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester, followed by a CEREMONY in CELEBRATION of Kathyâs life at 10:30 A. M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Johnâs Cemetery, Worcester, MA. Immediately following the burial, a MEMORIAL MASS will be held at 12:30 P. M. at ST. BERNADETTE CHURCH, 266 Main St. , Northborough.
