Kevin B. Mcnamara

WORCESTER: Kevin B. McNamara, 61, died Friday, January 3, 2014, after a long illness. His wife of 33 years, Beverly J. (Bigos) McNamara, died January 19, 2013. He leaves four children, Kevin J. McNamara and his wife Michelle of Worcester, Brianne M. McNamara of Worcester, Christopher and Neal Young, both of North Carolina; a brother, Barry J. McNamara and his wife Patricia of Worcester; his granddaughter, Maura; and many nieces and nephews. Another brother, Brian A. McNamara, predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Joseph F. McNamara, Jr. and Constance M. (Riley) McNamara. He attended Doherty High School and Worcester Boys Trade High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Kevin worked as a truck driver for several different companies in the Worcester area including Millbrook Distributors, Marane Oil and most recently for Cat Val Trucking. He was a long time member of the American Legion. He enjoyed reading, repairing cars with his friend Butch and spending time with his family and his dog Abby. The family would like to express their most sincere thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Metro-West Cancer Care Center, especially Kevinâs long time nurse Karen Mott and Doctor Kala Seetharaman. M. on TUESDAY, JAN. 7 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held on WEDNESDAY, JAN. 8 at 12 Noon in OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS CHURCH, 1222 Main St. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
