## Leonard "Lenny" C Lovejoy, Jr. October 4, 1955 - August 1, 2024 Leonard "Lenny" C Lovejoy, Jr. of Worcester, MA, passed away on August 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and generosity. Born and raised in Worcester, Lenny was a man who lived life to the fullest, always bringing a smile to the faces of those around him. Lenny was a proud graduate of Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester.  He spent over 35 years as a dedicated machine operator at Mayfield Plastics Company. Lenny's work ethic and commitment were unmatched, and he took great pride in his work. Family was the heart and soul of Lenny's life. For 45 wonderful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Janice Lovejoy. Together, they raised a family full of love and laughter. Lenny was a devoted father to Brenda Bartkowiak and Michael Lovejoy Sr., and a loving grandfather to Michael Jr., Elizabeth, Emma, Jacob, and Sarah. He also shared a close bond with his sisters, Joanne Narva, Linda Des Chenes, and Gail Lovejoy. Lenny's humor, kindness, and generosity were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was always ready with a joke or a helping hand, forever the life of the party, yet steadfast in his support and love for his family and friends. A private memorial service will be held to honor Lenny's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests that donations be made to VNA Hospice & Palliative Care in memory of Leonard Lovejoy Jr. to support patient care at VNA Care.
