Leonard Pizzarella passed at the age of 67. He was born in Boston, moved to Worcester at the age of four, and lived the majority of his life in the city. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade (now Worcester Technical High School) in 1972. He worked his entire life until he retired at the age of 56. Leonard spent his last years battling his COPD and heart problems. He leaves behind his loving wife Maureen of 44 years as well as his five children Margret, Jenn, Stephanie, Leonard and T. He was adored by his nine beautiful grandchildren ranging from 3-19 years old. He spent every moment he could outside and reached the hearts of everyone with a homemade meal. Lenny was known for cracking a joke at any opportunity he could find. His life was filled with love and he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to send donations to the COPD Foundation. The family welcomes all who loved Lenny to a memorial service scheduled for 2pm, Friday, April 14, 2023 at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. Express condolences to the family below.
