WORCESTER - Linda Ann (Ferrantino) Magao, age 74, passed away peacefully at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, Massachusetts on February 27, 2024.
Linda was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William J. Ferrantino and Virginia (Karbowski) Ferrantino.
Throughout her life, Linda was the epitome of warmth, optimism, and grace. Her caring and kind nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her. She was celebrated for her generosity, steadfast work ethic, and unwavering dependability. Linda was a woman of diverse interests and talents, finding joy in a variety of hobbies, such as crafting, creating culinary delights, and expressing her creativity through painting.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica Ahearn and her fiancé Paul Lavallee of West Boylston; her daughter Christina Smith and her husband Michael Smith of Holden; her treasured granddaughters Caralyn Smith and Danielle Smith both of Holden; her sister Barbara (Ferrantino) Belinskas and her husband Michael of Worcester; her niece Lisa-Marie Soto and her husband James and their children, her grandnephew James Jr. and grandniece Virginia, of Auburn. She also leaves behind Sugar, her dog, and Quint, her cat, who both featured prominently in her life and will also feel the absence of her gentle care. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, in 2018.
Calling hours to celebrate Linda's memory will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester, Massachusetts. The interment will follow at a later date, privately held by the family.
