Linda Shields

Linda M. (Glenn) Shields (June 22, 1951-January 6, 2024) Born in Lowell, MA, on June 22, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Myron Glenn and Louise (Mullen) Glenn. She grew up in Pelham, NH, moved to Concord, NH then moved to Massachusetts and raised her family in the Fitchburg, Leominster area.

Linda worked at Omnirel and International Rectifier in Leominster, MA for many years and retired from Mart in 2017.

Linda has deep gratitude to her faith and community at New Life Church. Linda was an amazing volunteer and served in the Senior Ministry at New Life Church and answered phones in the office. She also volunteered with the Meals Ministry.

Linda truly loved spending time with her family. Linda loved to cook and boy did she make some great meals. She loved entertaining her family and had such a kind heart always giving to others. Linda always had a beautiful smile and an encouraging word for everyone and was a mother to many. She loved to give cooking pointers and share recipes. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening and collecting antiques.

Linda was predeceased by her husband Edward C Shields in 2008.

Linda leaves behind three wonderful children: Marissa (Weeks) Gulliver, and her spouse Dennis Gulliver of Leominster, Matthew Weeks and girlfriend Sam of Leominster and Edward Shields and his spouse Karen of Townsend. She also leaves six beautiful grandchildren; Nicholas Gulliver, Jeffrey Gulliver, Victoria Gulliver, Tabia Weeks, Cody Weeks, and Edward Shields III. She also leaves behind her foster grandchildren Evelyn, Lucas, Dannileys & Kathiarys who brought her so much joy in her final weeks.

She also leaves behind her siblings Michael Glenn and his wife Gail of Hudson NH, Kathleen St. Laurent and husband Andy of Croydon NH, Warren Glenn and wife Suzanne of Hudson NH and many beloved nieces and nephews.
