WORCESTER: Margaret A. (Asdikian) Arakelian, 94, a long time resident of Sutton, died Friday, August 8th at Millbury Health Care Center. Her husband of almost 45 years, Teddy H. Arakelian, died May 26, 1989. She leaves two daughters, Eunice A, Malkasian and her husband John of Auburn, CA, Karen R. Weldon and her husband Paul of Sutton; two sons, Arthur D. Arakelian of Worcester, David K. Arakelian and his wife Barbara of Granite Bay, CA; 5 grandchildren, Brynne Arakelian, Lauren Weldon, Nicole Weldon, Layne Arakelian, Bailey Arakelian; her sister-in-law and best friend, Vicky Bedigian of Whitinsville; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Barkey Asdikian of Oxford, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Krikorian) Asdikian and was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade High School. Margaret and her husband Teddy owned and operated their family business Teddyâs Cleaners on Lincoln St. in Worcester for many years, now operated by their son Arthur. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Savior in Worcester and former member of its Ladies Society. She was also a member of the Stella Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years. She loved cooking, baking, playing cards and spending time with her family. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 10 to 11 A. M. on Wednesday, Aug. 13th at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester, followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 11 A. M. in the FUNERAL HOME.
