WORCESTER: Margaret M. âPegâ (Fleming) Foran, 93, formerly of Marmion Ave. , died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Christopher House of Worcester. Her husband of 54 years, General Paul P. Foran, died February 8, 1998. She leaves her daughter, Margaret Ellen Foran-Collins and her husband James E. Collins of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Patrick Foran Collins and Catherine Margaret Collins, both of Shrewsbury. Her brother, John Fleming, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late James J. and Mary E. (Riordan) Fleming and graduated from Commerce High School in 1936. She attended Becker Business School and was a life-long resident of the city. Peg was a bookkeeper at Brockelmanâs Market and later worked at Diamond Jewelers. She was a member of St. Maryâs Church in Shrewsbury and a former member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Worcester. She was a devoted wife and mother and a doting grandmother. She was most happy when she was surrounded by her family. M. on TUESDAY, FEB. 15 in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 11 A. M. on WEDNESDAY, FEB. 16 in ST. MARYâS CHURCH, 640 Main St. , Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in St. Johnâs Cemetery.
