WORCESTER: Marguerite A. (Shea) Donovan, 87, of 101 Chadwick St. , formerly of Wrentham Rd. , died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at The Highlands Long Term Care center in Fitchburg. Her husband of 53 years, Walter J. âMikeâ Donovan, died December 11, 2005. She leaves three sons, Mark C. Donovan and his longtime companion Darla Proulx of Lunenburg, Mass, Gregory J. Donovan and his wife Monica of Woodland Park, Colorado, Christopher F. Donovan and his spouse Stephan Wierzbicki of Fairhaven, Mass. ; a granddaughter, Katherine R. Donovan of Lunenburg; several nieces and nephews; and her very close friend Ruth Martin of Worcester. Two sisters, Frances Shea and Genevieve Healy, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Winchester, Mass. , daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary Jane (Delaney) Shea, graduated from Winchester High School, and lived in Hudson, Mass. before moving to Worcester more than 35 years ago. Marguerite was secretary to the librarian at Holy Cross College in Worcester, where she worked for 13 years. She was an active member of Christ the King Church where she sang in the church choir and served as a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine teacher. CALLING HOURS are 2 to 4 P.
