Marion A. Flynn

WORCESTER: Marion A. (Fitzgerald) Flynn, 95, formerly of Venus Drive, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a long illness. Her beloved husband of 65 years, John J. Flynn, died April 4, 2011. She leaves a son, John J. Flynn, Jr. and his wife Sandra of West Boylston; a daughter, Nancy A. Steuterman and her husband Paul of Lehigh Acres, FL; 3 grandsons, Christopher P. Flynn and his wife Tiffany of Hutchinson, KS, Patrick F. Steuterman and Brian J. Steuterman, both of Lehigh Acres, FL; a brother-in-law, Charles R. Barry of Worcester; many nieces and nephews; and two step-grandchildren. Her beloved grandson, Michael J. Steuterman, a great grandson, Jonathan D. Flynn, two sisters, Agnes Oliver and Loretta Barry, and a brother John E. Fitzgerald, all predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late William H. and Agnes C. (Owens) Fitzgerald and was a 1939 graduate of Commerce High School. Marion was a Principle Clerk for the Massachusetts Division of Social Services where she worked for 31 years until retiring in 1985. She was a long-time member of St. Georgeâs Church. She enjoyed gardening, shopping with her daughter Nancy, and was a devoted grandmother. Marion's son Jack and daughter Nancy would like to express their most sincere thanks to the staff at Holy Trinity for the 7 years of extraordinary care they provided to their Mom. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 A. M. on WEDNESDAY, JAN. 17, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St, followed by A FUNERAL MASS at 11 A. M. in ST. GEORGEâS CHURCH, 38 Brattle Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. The family suggests donations in memory of Marion be made to St. Jude Childrenâs Research Hospital, P. O.
