WORCESTER: Marjorie Y. (Frith) Biggs, 80, of 113 Country Club Blvd. , formerly of Boston, and Clearwater, FL, died Monday, February 20, 2006, in St. Vincent Hospital, after a brief illness. She leaves three daughters, Margot L. Matthews of Worcester, Ann M. Hogan and her husband Earl of Clearwater, FL, Paulette G. Hawkes and her husband Richard of Inglewood, CA; three sons, Robert L. Biggs and his wife Kimberly of Melrose, Adam A. White of Wells, ME, Michael A. Biggs of Cambridge; 15 grandchildren including 3 in the Worcester area, Tremayne F. , Shona M. and Jared L. Matthews; 9 great grandchildren including 4 in the Worcester area, Keanna Swindell, Deondre O. Matthews, Julisa R. Matthews and Ameen R. Lacy, Jr. ; 3 nieces; a nephew; a cousin; and a sister-in-law. Her brother, Lawrence J. Frith, predeceased her. Marjorie was born in Boston, daughter of the late Edward K. and Ruth E. (Jones) Frith and was a graduate of Boston Girls High School and Boston Clerical School. She lived in Florida for many years before returning to Massachusetts. She moved to Worcester 4 years ago. She worked as an administrative assistant and building supervisor at Central Congregational Church in Jamaica Plain and previously at Mt. Olive AME Church in Clearwater. There are no calling hours. After cremation, a MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11 a. m. on Saturday, March 25, in UNITED CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 6 Institute Rd. , Worcester. Another MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Mt. Olive AME Church, 600 Jones St. , in Clearwater, at a date and time to be announced. The family suggests donations in memory of Marjorie be made to the American Stroke Association, 20 Speen St. , Framingham, MA 01701.
