WORCESTER: Mary A. (Hynes) Hanlon, 81, of 11 Marble St. , formerly of Middlesex Ave. , died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Radius Healthcare Center. She leaves her husband of 60 years, James J. Hanlon; a daughter, Deborah A. Bennett and her husband Robert of Pacific Grove, CA; 2 sons, Joseph T. Hanlon and his wife Dianne of Pittsburgh, PA, and John F. Hanlon of Worcester. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late James A. and Mary F. (King) Hynes. She graduated from Ascension High School, St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing, and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mary was a registered nurse anesthetist in the Maternity Department at the former Worcester City Hospital, where she worked for many years. She then worked at St Vincent Hospital until she retired. She was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Parish. There are no calling hours. After cremation, burial will be in St. Johnâs Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations in memory of Mary be made to the Franciscan Mission Associates, P. O. Box 598 â Dept. M, Mount Vernon, NY 10551-0598.
