Maryanne R. Sorisitis

WORCESTER: Maryanne R. (Ridick) Sorisitis, 81, of 60 Alvarado Ave. , died Friday, December 1, 2006, in UMass Memorial Healthcare- Memorial Campus, after a brief illness. Her husband, Peter A. Sorisitis, died December 25, 1995. She leaves her son John; a daughter, Annemarie Sorisitis; her son-in-law, Michael A. Flood; a sister, Claire Cotter; five grandchildren, Therese F. Flood, Michael P. Flood, John P. Flood, Joshua A. Goguen, and Joseph A. Flood, all of Worcester. Two daughters predeceased her, Katherine A. Flood on June 25, 2004, and Nancy J. Goguen on March 30, 2006. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Anna M. (Kulvinsky) Ridick, and graduated from Commerce High School. Maryanne worked as a housekeeper at Holy Cross College until she retired. She previously worked as a nurse's aide at Worcester State Hospital. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. CALLING HOURS will be from 4 to 7 p. m. , Sunday, Dec. 3, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a. m. on Monday, Dec. 4, in ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH, 75 Alvarado Ave. , followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery.
