Mary L. (Grady) Mcgovern

WORCESTER: Mary L. (Grady) McGovern, 95, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Millbury Health Care Center. Her husband of 22 years, Joseph W. McGovern, died March 4, 1954. She leaves a daughter, Mary M. OâMalley and her husband Anthony of Boylston; 3 grandchildren, Charlene Bentley and Eileen Crawford, both of Barre, Leonard Sears of Wilbraham; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Rita F. Sears, and a great granddaughter, Brittany Crawford, both predeceased her. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Otelia C. (Johnson) Grady and lived here most of her life. Mary was a licensed practical nurse at Worcester State Hospital where she worked for 27 years, until she retired. She was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church. CALLING HOURS are from 3 to 5 P. M. on SUNDAY, JAN. 31 in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 A. M. on MONDAY, FEB. 1 in IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 353 Grove St. , followed by burial in St. Johnâs Cemetery.
