WORCESTER: Mary M. (Fenton) Hackett, 85, formerly of 21 Duncannon Ave. died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 64 years, Edward F. Hackett, and several nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Anne M. Hackett, died in 1996, and her brother, Dennis A. Fenton, died in 1995. She was born in Palmer, daughter of the late Dennis and Odna (Perry) Fenton, lived in Worcester most of her life, and was a graduate of Commerce High School. Mary was a City of Worcester employee for a time and previously worked in bookkeeping at Norton Company. She was a member of St. John's Church and a past president of the Guild of Our Lady of Providence. She enjoyed playing bridge and playing the piano. CALLING HOURS will be from 5 to 7 p. m. on Monday, March 6, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday, March 7 in ST. JOHN'S CHURCH, 40 Temple St. , followed by entombment in St. John's Cemetery Mausoleum.
